The “Friends of the Holy Family Hospital Association” has been supporting the activities of the THINK POSITIVE group, established in 2011 at the Holy Family Hospital, which opened its doors to these women, understanding the importance of improving the connection between the hospital and the surrounding community.
The group brings together Arab and Jewish women recovering from breast cancer. The name of the group represents the value of positive thinking as a way to heal from cancer. This is not a therapeutic group, but a multicultural social group that strengthens and empowers its members, creating mutual commitment, responsibility and friendship.
At their meetings, the brave women celebrate life and the holidays of the different religions, each religion with its tradition. They bring to this friendship their personal and family experiences, dilemmas and moments of frustration, anxiety and pain, along with moments of joy and happiness.
